Ainsleigh on the go!

I didn't realize it had been so long since I've posted any pictures. Here's a couple of videos of Ainsleigh. She's growing sooooo fast!! Life has been fun and exciting around the Miller household...Kristen & Ainsleigh moved out, Josh moved out and Tommy moved in, all in the last month. Josh finally got the job he's been waiting for working as a merchant mariner on a tugboat. He's in "hog heaven" as we say back home, being on the water all the time.

Uncle Jim & Aunt Judy visited in April and Mom & Dad Johnson visited us in early May. Had a blast with all of them. I finally finished my classes for the spring and summer and I'm on a 2 month break until August 25th. YIPEE!! Ted is as busy as ever with work and keeping up with the rest of us.

Enjoy the videos and I'll post some pictures of our Alaskan cruise and our visit to San Francisco when we return to Virginia in late July.

This is a video of Ainsleigh pulling up for the first time. This is actually the second time, but the first time she pulled up, I was so suprised I ran to get the camera, then she repeated it for me right on cue! She's growing and changing so fast, it's hard to keep up with her new adventures.

This is a video of Ainsleigh's unique way of crawling. If you look carefully you will see she uses the left foot and right knee to get around.

Kinda quiet around here

January and February have been pretty uneventful here in Virginia Beach. We took the dogs for a beach walk in early January during one of our notorious warm spells. In late January we woke up to a light dusting of snow on the ground, it soon melted when the sun came out. Josh made a sure bet on the Packers and his buddies had a great time shaving all his hair off his head. Reminded me when he was playing soccer at 14. The video is Ainsleigh eating her first cereal with a spoon on her 4 month old birthday. That was lots of fun!! As you can see she's growing like a weed. Ted and I were able to take a couple of days and go for our annual visit to Palm Desert, CA where his parents winter. Fun, but hurried.

Ainsleigh in the jungle

This is a short video of Ainsleigh enjoying her first trip to the jungle thanks to Nana & PawPaw. As you can see, she's so excited, she's waving her arms and kicking her legs all over the place and talking to the animals. (Please ignore my nasally speech on the audio, I was getting over some congestion)

Nana & PawPaw and Grandma & Grandpa Miller visit

The month of December brought the Miller family special visits from both sets of grandparents. Nana & PawPaw came to Virginia Beach the first week of December to see their first great-grandchild! (They are so old) We toured Colonial Williamsburg and it's colonial Christmas decorations and then they got to come to our house and help us put up our decorations. What a big help that was! Thanks Mom & Dad!
Late in December, Grandpa & Grandma Miller also came to visit for the Christmas holiday. We all made a very quick day trip to Wintergreen, VA for a day of skiing and continued the holiday festivities with an afternoon listening to the VA symphony play and the VA Children's Choir sing Christmas songs. We kept them very busy to say the least! Sorry for wearing you out, but we certainly had a great time!
Thank you to both sets of grandparents for traveling all the way to Virginia to spend time with Ted, the kids, and me. We love you and miss you greatly! Please come back soon for another visit.
P.S. As you can see, Ainsleigh is growing like a weed, but a very adorable weed!

Ainsleigh and family

Here are a few pix I've taken over the last couple of weeks. You can see how much she's changed since the last post. She's an angel to be around and loves to be held as you can see. She's just started cooing and gooing and now weighs 9 pounds and getting bigger by the day. I wish all of you could see her in person.

Ainsleigh Elizabeth

Ainsleigh is the most beautiful baby in the world ~ at least her mom & I think so! Here's a short video I took while she was still at the hospital. Hope you enjoy and get a feel for how tiny she is. I will post more pictures as I take them.
